I'm sorry I can't, I have tennis...

"Can you come and hang out with me tonight?"
..."Umm no, I have tennis tonight.
Basically from April to October my life is all about tennis, it is when I am most driven to succeed. The sport makes me feel alive and its a feeling that is indescribable. When I get out on that court I get so nervous because I never know how good my opponent is going to be.  But, when I see my coach, all my fears go away because I know she believes in me, which makes me believe more in myself, that I am able to accomplish anything that is set in front of me.
The best part of the season is hanging with all of my girls and getting to play some of my toughest competition. (Usually Centerville, Beavercreek, and Fairmont)

During practice me and the girls always joke around with each other. I remember my favorite joke anyone ever said during practice
"Woah look it's a short bus, I've never seen one of those before!"-Aerielle
"Um, Well Aerielle you can't see it from the inside"- Syron
We make jokes about everyone all the time and its fun because we are all like sisters. I mean we practically spend every day with each other for 2 and a half months. I also remember just hitting around and making up raps about random stuff when I was hitting I came up with
"Running is gay, What what, runnning is gay
Running down the street my feet make a beat, I turn to you and say what the freak, Running is gay
When I run my muscles get sore, then I'm using ICEHOT galore, running is gay
When your outside in the sun your skin gets burnt and crispy, just like a turkey in the oven at 450
Running is gay
When you run you get sweaty, when you sweat you smell, so when you see someone you better walk away fast as hell
Running is gay what what running is gay"
It was the best thing ever because I just came up with it while hitting. No one could hit straight and the balls were flying and by the end of it my team mates were on leaning over laughing so hard at me.

I play varsity, and have since my freshman year, so when I graduate I will have my four year letter, which I am really looking forward to. Last year I went to districts in doubles but this year I switched to singles and unfortunately didn't make it to districts. But there is always next year.

This picture was take at the ATP center in Cincinnati, Ohio.  This is were districts were played. It was so cool because that is where all the pros had played, and i was standing on center court. I saw the ref chair and of course I HAD to sit in it. It made me feel important :).

This was at Centerville High School, where me and Marianne got awards. I ended up taking home an award for an honorable mention in the Miami Valley.
